With over 15 years’ experience in Human Resources, and as  a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (FCIPD), I have led HR programmes across a range of organisations.  In all roles, I have  delivered the strategic brief of  leading a function that ensured the best people were recruited and developed, and both managers and employees worked within a framework of outstanding HR practice.

The most important factor for organisations is building trust with their HR provider.  I focus on building relationships with my clients.  This is based on understanding your organisation; it’s culture,  your business outcomes and the people management processes that support your success.

Whether it’s support for handling ‘issues’, particularly in relation to poor performance, high levels of sickness absence, misconduct issues or a workplace dispute, I am able to provide practical advice and recommendations as to the most effective and amicable solution.

I will work collaboratively to develop bespoke HR policies (and other related documents) that support growth, improve employee relations, attract talent and develop the workforce. I will ensure that your existing people policies and procedures are fit for purpose, meet business needs and comply with legislation.

As an experienced recruiter, I can develop job descriptions, person specifications, recruitment material and selection event resources to engage and recruit the best talent.

Underpinning these skills is my experience as an outstanding leader in an educational setting.  Through coaching, role modelling and mentoring I will develop the leadership skills of your people managers, so they are confident in managing their team(s) and embedding a culture of success.
